Frayne Construction undertook the renovation and extension of Ceann Loca, a distinctive 1930s semi-detached home on Saint John’s Road, Wexford.

The works included the restoration of original architectural details such as the gabled glazed porch, red fibre-cement slate roof with terracotta ridge tiles, decorative bargeboards, and traditional sash windows. These features were carefully preserved to respect the character and heritage value of the property.

To enhance the home’s functionality, a well-designed rear extension was added to provide two additional bedrooms. The extension was planned and finished to integrate seamlessly with the existing structure, maintaining the balance between modern living requirements and the building’s established character.
